We camped here in July 2003. Since then, we have never found another campground where we had such a good time as we did then. We caught HUGE bass in the lake, Mt. biked all over the area, canoed, kayaked, swam, and the kids made many friends.
On the last day we discovered the water hole on the Kankamangus(sp?)Hwy. What a blast!
The 12 hour drive wasn't great but it was well worth it if you like the outdoors.

CCV, a warm spot in our hearts is reserved for you! Every year for the past 4 years (at least twice during each season) we have come to camp. What's better than being on site 34 on a sunny summer morning as the sun comes up over the pond? Only maybe pricilla's smiling face at the front desk, maybe! We'll be back this year too! see you soon CCv Staff! Eric, Tina and Brandon

I love the fact that your campground is a pet friendly envirorment . Some campgrounds say they are pet friendly but you get that felling that pets are a nuisance to them . We have two Basset Hounds .

For the past three years, since we got the camper. We have camped in that area on Columbus Day weekend. We have stayed at the Beach, and Saco River. It was the first time here, and what a great place. Saco river was the worst, because you had a gate that was locked at 11pm. So, if you went out for a movie or such, you had to go to an early show. At least at the Beach, you had good size sites, where your neighbor could reach across and steal your bacon & eggs. This is what camping is about. Woodsy sites, friendly people and things to do.

We had the pleasure of staying at Chocorua with my 2 sisters and their familys in August of 2005. We stayed at the Talaki and Adahi cabins. What a wonderful time we had.We canoed, hiked, tried to catch fireflys, went fishing, rode our bikes, swam across the lake,tye-dyed shirts, watched a great flick-played ping-pong on the coolest table ever(check it out)Purchased the fanciest hat ever at the general store, mastered birdcalls. The highlight was watching the meteor shower on the end of the dock. That was just 1 day.It was a great week.I keep trying to find an adventure here in California that is comparable. No way!!Chocorua is one of a kind..The staff is wonderful.I hope to be able to visit again in 2007.

Very accomodating to the needs of the guest. Friendly staff. A relaxing vacation. Family had a great time fishing on Moore's Pond. Son enjoyed the ice cream and hayride night. Can't wait to return.
